Drusilla Lunatics…
…would by all means love
So… been driven insane lately by an Angel? Did he kill your whole family before turning you into a vampire? And just when you’d made your peace with being a spawn of the devil, did he then get cursed with a pesky soul and switch sides and become a constant thorn in your evil side?
No? Well I guess we can’t all be as fortunate as Drusilla…
‘Druzilla’ herself, Juliet Landau, enters the comics Whedonverse by co-writing alongside Brian Lynch a special two-parter that brings Druzilla into the After the Fall universe. As an added bonus, each issue will feature a special back-up pictorial with Landau, too. NOTE: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS ISSUE OF ANGEL WILL SHIP WITH 3 COVERS INSTEAD OF THE USUAL 2 COVERS. 2 OF THE COVERS WILL BE BY FRANCO URRU AND THE THIRD COVER WILL BE BY NICK RUNGE. THESE COVERS WILL BE SHIPPED RANDOMLY.
Genuine Buffiverse Adherents…
…should probably have
Greetings all! Eli Sterling here again with another nifty product no self-respecting Buffyverse fan should have to do without!
‘Boys and Their Toys,’ Part 2 of 2 Angel and Spike who is now convinced he is Angel are thrown into a new kind of Hell as their battle at the comic convention gets hairy. Well, Furry, at least. Brian Lynch concludes his run on Angel, paving the way for next month’s all-new creative team while Lynch hops over to the upcoming Angel Annual and a new Spike series.
Committed Angel Fanciers…
…would definitely love
Yo!
Well, maybe we should be committed anyhow…
Just think, an asylum specifically for Whedonverse addicts!
Talk about improving mental health care!
Of course it wouldn’t be an improvement if we weren’t still allowed a dose every now and then… say, once a day? Would that be enough? Too much? Just right?
Ah, these are the considerations that try our souls… not to mention our soulful vampires…
Later.
Springing out of Joss Whedon and Brian Lynch’s Angel: After the Fall storyline, novelist Kelley Armstrong The Summoning comes aboard to explore the many repercussions following the explosive last issue of Angel: After the Fall. Artist Dave Ross also joins up to present the first arc of ‘Aftermath,’ wherein we learn who lived, who died, and who will be forever changed from the experience.
Insatiable Spike & Angel Fiends…
…would unquestionably have (or want to)
Me again. Of course.
I’ve been watching Buffy a lot lately, among other things. I’ve gone through the first three seasons, almost, in about a week. You’d think I’d be sick to death of it by now, but I’m not.
I just watched the Doppelgänger episode a couple of hours ago and it still made me laugh out loud, more than once.
Of course when it comes to Buffy, I admit I’m a push over, Joss’s ideal audience I suppose…
One of these days, I’ll post something more substantial again, or at least that’s the plan. I guess I’m hoping if I watch the shows enough times something will simply gel, and I won’t have to work at it…
But it’s wishful thinking, I know — just another way to procrastinate.
Oh well. Never said I was the perfect blogger, did I? Or that I held myself to the highest standards? Hey, it’s just something to do to keep me from drinking, cruising, drugging, carousing, eating, despairing…
I’m pretty sure you all know the drill.
‘Boys and Their Toys,’ Part 1 of 2 Somebody has made a movie based on Angel’s adventures in hell! Angel and Spike go to a comic con to see how badly Hollywood has mangled true events, only to find themselves surrounded by supernatural evil at every turn. Can Angel tell the difference between an evil demon and a 14-year-old fanboy dressed as an evil demon? Is there a difference? The Angel: After the Fall team of Brian Lynch and Stephen Mooney throw Angel and Spike into an all-new hell!
Bloodthirsty Angel Fans…
…will crave
Hey, hey, what’s this all about? Thousands of screenwriters went to hell?
And I don’t remember an Angel movie…
Oh, is this just a comic-book what-if kinda thing? How come Eli’s always the last to know?
When L.A. went to Hell in After the Fall, so did thousands of screenwriters, one of whom wrote a movie based on Angel’s experiences there. The first-ever Angel Annual presents an adaptation of Angel’s travails, Hollywood-style, in Angel: Last Angel in Hell: The Official Movie Adaptation. By Brian Lynch and Stephen Mooney! Mooney presents two movie poster covers, one featuring the real Angel and company, the other with their Hollywood counterparts.
